Well, haven't been here in almost 5 years. I had a 1989 GL1500 back then. Ended up selling it when it had a few problems and got a 2007 Honda Shadow Aero 750 for commuting. However I learned fast that it just was not comfortable enough for the 100+ miles a day I drive and so for the last 2 years it hardly got any use.

I was committed to the fact that I would not buy another 20 year old bike nor any other bike till I could get the current model Goldwing that had always been my dream bike. Yesterday turned out to be that day. I have a 3rd kid due at the end of Feb and did not see myself using my boat much this coming summer and so decided to sell it. Used the money to get myself a 2004 Candy Red Wing in perfect condition with 36k miles. So excited!
