Hi All,

I’ve owned 2 GL1500s, a 99 K1200LTC, an 01 GL1800 and an 03 K1200LT. (Which I got rid of about 2 years ago) This is the longest stretch that I have been “bikeless” since I was 19. (I’m 48) I am thinking about getting another touring bike and the only one that I am contemplating is a GL1800.

Anyhow, this looks like a cool board.

Buying a new bike in the current economic conditions may be more than slightly “daft” but motorcycles and the occasional long tour has always been my mental safety valve, one I sorely miss…
