Need some help with a hitch issue. My wife and I purchased a camping trailer with std ball hitch but have a Bushtec trailer with a pindle hitch. I was considering fabricating a receiver type hitch and welding the Bushtec pindle to another male recvr so they could be switched out. But now I'm considering just welding a ball to a piece of flat steel and drilling and bolting it to the frame same as the chrome pindle. A little more hassle but probably neater looking. Appreciate any ideas. Im sure somebody has already addressed this issue on their bike. Attached a photo of my current setup.

Myself, I'd convert thebushtec to a standard 1 7/8 inch ball hitch. I like things to match + minimal hassle when I go to ride.

Electrical connectors would have to match as well. For me.
