Red and I are sitting exhausted in the living room of our little house as I type this, exhausted in body and in bank account, but enormously richer in spirit for the great ride we had......

Four weeks and two days, 6000 plus miles, a ton of new experiences and new friends...... life has never been so good!

What is not good and special about motorcycling your summer away?

Gotta eat and sleep now, more later.....!

Welcome Home ! Sorry the vacation has come to an end, but glad to hear your home and alls well .

I'm happy to see that you and Red had a successful vacation. It was hard to see the last one end the way it did for you.
How did it end up that Red got a car out of the trip. For heavens sake, don't let the rest of the women on the forum think this is the new norm!

That was an amazing trip CJ and Red. It was also nice the way everyone kept us all updated on your guy's progress. Go again so we can all have some more fun. ;)

Thanks, all....... and again, this forum has enriched our lives beyond measure. We have added so much to our sport and and to our passion with our participation on Steve's magic website...... and we learned this summer that all offorumites are a family, a family of the road!

Lost In Florida: well, Red doesn't get a new car on every trip..... she got it this time in grateful recognition of the fact that she has put up with me for twenty years. But that's probably not enough! On our last day out we passed through my crummy old hometown where my high school reunion was going on.... at reunion picnic, an old, old friend of mine -- who knows me too well -- took a long look at her new car, took a longer look at Red, glanced at me, and said:

"She's been with you for twenty years and all she gets is a car?"

:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

Ride safe; Ride often; Ride far!
