Couple of weeks back I was searching for th best IPhone case and bracket found many ideas but I dont like drilling holes into the bike so I came up with this bracket.

3/4 X 3/4 alu square stock 3" long
3/4 round stock 2" long welded as picture then using grinder, files, drill, sandpaper and pactience I finaly came up with this bolt on bracket that fits on the left handlebar with just longer bolts simply look at pic there are Worth many word each.

Just a suggestion if you make more - or if someone else does. (cause this is an awesome idea). If you make it mount like this cupholder: http://wingstuff.com/products/33242-cool-rider-beverage-holder?context=drink_holders

Then your vertical bracket can be much more simple and doesn't need all that grinding to shape - it can just be a piece of square stock with a couple holes drilled in it.

Yours would be stronger though - I really like the design. I use my phone for navigation and there are several good handlebar mounted cell phone holders that just won't work on a wing. I have my wing mostly apart for several repairs and I'll try making one of these today - will post pics. Thanks again for the idea!
