Fairings for less than $150.00 bucks on e-bay????...The least that I've seen one sell for lower than $300.00 to $350.00, were busted...... The "cheaper" ones had from minor to damaged worst than mine was...Beware of "Repaired fairings"...Depending on which side it went down on, right side cover I've seen them go from $150.00 up to over $200.00 bucks, depends how many are up for sale, and how badly someone wants one, Left covers are usually fairly reasonable...

OK let me put it this way, you said it was willed to you, if it has sentemental value, and you are willing to spend about two to three grand. and that's cheap, then go for it...Your ablities as in mechanically inclined, painter, body man, that will also play into that 2 to 3 grand....

Just the carbs can run over $500.00 bucks to rebuild, then all the rubber items will need to be replaced, tires, timing belts, radiator hoses, maybe even gas hoses, tank flushed, then there is changing out all fluids, filters, rebuild brake master cylinders, calipers, and pads..The engine might need the valve cover gaskets replaced......Then if it's a 94 model, it could have the problem in the transmission, that almost all 94's had, 4th gear goes out, bad shifter forks....

So I've been almost a year rebuilding a 1500 and I'm still a long way away from having it a riding condition, but I'm trying...Do it again??? Sorry but nope!!!!
