Hi fellow Wingers. I just bought 2008 GL1800 with the Honda Navi but neither owners manual nor the extra Navi manual were included. I have been trying to verify the Navi works but need some instruction on how it operates. I see the Navi button on the radio display and the controls on the right side control panel but have not been able to get to a map display or place to enter a destination. I have searched online for a pdf of the manual but no luck there either. I would appreciate getting a copy of the manual or some basic instrucion on how it operates. The display opening ceremony does have a screen that shows "Navigation" when the bike is powered on.

Someone here will answer your questions, but...the first thing you need to work on is getting an owner's manual and, if you plan on doing your own service work, get a factory service manual as well. These publications are invaluable.

Here's a site that says you can download manuals free...I see the 2008 Navi manual on the list.

Nav button on radio is for voice announcements. You need to press map button on right display, then acknowledge with enter key. If nothing, then you may not have a CF card for the map to work. Uh oh! Dealer issue!
