I have to admit it looks attractive. Is it US freeway trip capable though or just short haul? I used to take a YSR50 out on the highway at night 🤪 Seriously build it in 400cc call it Silver Wing that'll be cool.

very nice, I really like it myself.
the single best thing I noticed is that the Seat actually looks like it might be comfortable....
not like the one on my Piaggio MP3 which slants down at about a 15 degree angle, and I can't relax at all.
very tiring.

MPH? the MP3 is 250cc and barely makes 69.5 mph with a tailwind.
uphill? about 55 mph is about it
the Honda's lights are Eons better than the MP3, damn near invisible to traffic

Maybe it's a Gold Wing for Pacific Islanders. That or 15 minute cities.🤔
Seriously it seems that every vehicle grows in girth and human interactive electronics from the initial formula in order to stay "on top", that goes for sports cars & motorcycles and everyday cars like the Honda Civic.
Perhaps this is a hint of a step back reformulation of the GW. It must not be electric though!

The gold shield on the front fairing along with the video narrator had me fooled, sorry guys.
While on the topic though a return to flat four with modern engine management such as direct injection, variable valve timing, even a turbo (perhaps as a upgraded model). Bring it back to first year in size with more available power and high fuel economy when crusing. Just bemusing

I was hoping the model after the 1500 would be an 8 cylinder 2000cc
Variable valves would be nice
A supercharger like the mad Kwaks now have
Upside down forks like every bike that handles well since 1990
More luggage space
Bigger petrol tank for a minimum of 200 miles
Heads up display on the windshield
4.1 sound system

Would be great to have in the Philippines if it was just like in the video with the bags and all the lights.
The 2023 PCX160 model they show for there only has luggage under the seat.
I believe i found a price of about $4000 for the mini Wing shown in the video.

Philippine Honda PCX160 models are about $2400 to $3000 for the 2 models that they have there that is a regular scooter.

The Yamaha NMAX 155cc scooter i rented in 2020 was pretty good and cost new about $2200 then.
4 variable valve with ABS, CVT and fuel injected.

Yamaha VMX 300cc in the Philipines was over $3000 but can't remember how much.
Physically much bigger than the NMAX 155cc.

Yes; a 2 liter, 8 cylinder engine would be vibration free and maybe they could add a couple extra wheels to eliminate the tendancy for a 2-wheeled 1000+ lb machine to tip over while stopped at a red lignt! 😁

Seriously though, the "baby" Gold Wing is a 16 HP scooter with some nice flowing bodywork.

I wish Honda would put more production effort into building Trail 125 bikes which continue to be as scarce as hen's teeth.

160 is about 100cc smaller than it should be. I once owned a 250cc Honda Helix scooter and 70mph was just a hare under max for it. Around here, that would get you run down from behind.

Guys the time for bigger and bigger 6 and 8 cylinder factory engines are behind us due to ever rising fuel cost and emissions constraints. I don't like it either ☹ One of my fav classics is the CBX.
How about a big turbo/supercharged flat 4 diesel? A diesel can have huge compression and torque.

I always thought Honda went the wrong direction with the Goldwing. They have always been magnificent machines but following the GL1000, instead of 1100cc they could have easily gone to 900cc as fuel and ignition systems improved, kept the same performance with smaller displacements and higher efficiency and even more durability.

There is a hybrid version of that scooter that has 200cc class power for brief periods.
They did make a 500-650 Silverwing. I don't think the sales were all that good.

It's not a GoldWing, but practical for short trips to the grocery store and so on. It easily drives 65 - 70 M/ph with me on . And costs a total of approximately $60 in tax and insurance per year because it has veteran status (= over 35 years here in Denmark).
And it has the same system for interrupting the turn signal as a GL1500, which I am fairly impressed with on a scooter from 1984. It is an Honda Spacy250 , in USA called Elite250.
