has anyone worked on the gl1200 horns? mine quit working . i bench tested but no results. i think they may have gotten wet. can they be fixed or am i wasting my time? regards walkabout :waving:

I've never had much luck with resurrecting them. the good news is that the same horn (to my knowledge) is used on the large bikes of the era - CB750 etc - not hard to find.

I'd replace 'em with a Stebel tho... you'll get more bang for your buck.

any motorcycle or atv horn will work, you can also install automotive horns or air horns, just use a relay. connect the horns directly to the battery through the relay and trigger the relay with the current wires coming from the button
