Hello

I have a Honda Goldwing 1200. she has been running fine for a couple of months until now. The electrics have been getting that hot its burning/melting the block above the battery.

I must ask what would be the first to check and were the hell do I start......???

many thanks kieth

Cut out the connector and solder the wires together, individually.

Use quality heat shrink tubing to isolate the connections.

the three yellow wires in that block are from the stator. Every 1200 should have this connector cut out and soldered. If you dont, it will continue to melt and be a hassle.

There are no special pairings of these wires, just cut them, solder and heat shrink. I know it seems odd to cut out the factory connector, but it must be done!
