In the old days, you just put a couple of 2 Watt, 220 ohm resisters in the connection and you could wire in a headphone plug, but not now-a-days. They went and put "bridging circuits" in so there is no common negative wire to the speakers, it gets shunted back and forth and such.

So, if I want to plug head phones or my Scala system into my nice AM/FM/MP3 player with 50 watts per channel and four channels, how the heck do I get that done?

There is a line output from the stereo, but that probably doesn't have volume control on it.

Any of the brain trust got any ideas?

Thanx!:?
