have the Ciro 3D powered cell phone holder and it will be mounted on the left side of the handlebars. It has been a long time and I can't remember how to run the wiring down the handlebar and back under the top shelter to the battery. Do I have to take everything apart or is there a way to slide a snake through? By the way, I have a 2008 gl1800

I ran all of the wiring down the outside of the handlebar covers, did not attempt to hide them at all.
Then once under the shelter, I had to leave a large loop that would uncoil to stretch out one way to turn, or coil up tighter when I turn the opposite way.

how did you get through the space under the shelter?
Look at the picture, the Audio wire goes across the top of the shelter.
The power wires I ran by threading thru the mess under the shelter and seat.
Sorry, I don't recall taking pictures of the "In progress" process.

.here are all of the pix that I have
scroll down.

Thanks. I ran it down the left side handle bar and then under the shelter top. I had to loosen up all the left side parts so I could get enough room to get a fish tape through. I connected it to the battery with an inline fuse. it took all day but it works and looks clean.

Thank you for your assistance

glad it came out clean.
I could have made mine neater, but I just ran the wires below the handlebar covers and zip tied them with black ties.
Unless you go looking for them, they are gone.

no way to hide the mess from the GPS though, but it did go below the covers after tied off to that RAM mount ball.
