The temp was in the normal range onthe gauge but my legs got hot, is that normal or is something wrong. Thanks Tim:X

Yes they can get fairly warm. On my 1200 I bolted on a set of highway pegs, boards so my legs where away from the engine. Tony:waving:

Add some wind wings to direct cooler air to your legs.

That's normal. It works out good in the winter though.

Mine doesn't bother me at all, I have some chrome covers that help keep mine cool. If you come over to the house on Friday so Nightwizard40 can help you with the syncing of the carbs, take a look at my setup and see if you like it. I have rode in 98* weather without my legs getting hot.
