I would like to pull off the Cylinder cover emblem, and want to make sure I don't want to screw it up. I'm guessing it's done with double stick tape. If that's the case, fishing line will work. Anyone know for sure?

Hey Rich, unless you have absolutely made your mind up to get 'em powder coated, I can vouch for them coming up REALLY well after being taken off and professionally polished..!

Peter.

Thanks for the info, but I am trying to De-Chrome the wing. The only chrome that will be left is my Iso-Grips. Polished aluminum = Chrome.

You can get the ISO grips in black now too or pull them and remove the rubber inserts and get them chrome powder coated too.

The best thing that I have found is the 3M side molding tape. Most auto stores carry it. Use some alcohol on both sides to make sure it is clean. Don't use Jack Daniels because by the time you put them on you may put them on very crooked.
