Out of the 5000 or so 1975 GL1000 goldwings made, I wonder how many of them are still around, and even better, how many are on the road?

Maybe a poll wil shed some light on the question.

There seems to be conflicting numbers , as to how many 1975 GL 1000's were made. one site says 5000 another says 13,000.
Anyone know the "true" number.

This is mine a 75 with just over 30,000 miles still driven regularly.

A GWOCGB member who loves the old wings is restoring a Canadian GL1000 for my daughter (Vasco) same colour as Peterbylt's. I understand from the frame number that it was one of the first 100. Delivery is expected in the next few weeks, wheels still at the builders.
