best thing to do is remove seat only 2 bolts and then remove gas gage only takes 2 minutes then siphon out gas that way because by the pump there quite a bit of gas left and u might burn out pump just my advice

The best and safest way is to go to Advance Auto Parts, and get a siphon pump. Pump it once, or twice, and the fuel begins to flow out. Never siphon with youe mouth. Too dangerous.
