I sure cant offer a price for the UK . Though I will say recently in my area ( Florida) I am seeing the early 1100s from $1000-2500 . The 83s slightly more in most cases .

I paid 2200 c.a.d. for my 82 gl1100, had to travel mind you and feel that I got an exceptional value..seems the people in my town are deluded about the value of their machines. Best I could find was asking 5k.

I know we all value our rides differently, but the bike I brought home is way beyond those overpriced wings.

I think that pricing is very area specific. Many people, including myself are able to go looking in other areas that may be less expensive over all, but that option may not be so easy in areas like Truro(SW England). So if I were you, I would listen only to advice from people in you own area. I do know that bikes command a higher price there though.

This is by no means intended to slight those who have been kind enough to offer help.
