I have seen the video of an 1800 being built and how they showed the smoothness of the engine by balancing a nickel on edge as it ran.
My 91 Interstate is just as smooth only I used a penny!
Ticking over at about 800 or so rpm, I sat the penny on the left valve cover and it stood there!
I have photos but they are too big to post here!
never thought of trying that all i know is that my hands fall asleep on long rides, but ill see what happens with a few dif coins, maybe the dollar bill might work better lol...
I can resize them.....just too lazy at the moment!:dude:
I'll do it though! I have a picture of the tach showing the bike is running, the picture of the penny and one of the exhaust showing moisture coming from the left exhaust pipe.
I didn't get to try it today, I will find time tomarrow sence I have got to clean the bike up some anyway. I will also try to get a video ofthe nickel or penny if it will.
