While attempting to oil up a spare choke cable I pulled the rubber cap off the top of the top of the cable. I thought it was just a weather tight cap to keep water out of the cable..but under the cap is screw on cap and under that is a split pressure washer. Screw it down and I can't move the cable at all and loosen it and it slides easily.


News to me!!!:):) Hope it helps some one else out too!~!!

mine is so tight the previous owner was pulling it out with pliers on cold days. thnks!

Same way you do it on the CB750's. Mine was too loose when I first bought it. First adjustment I had to make on my bike.

dont use oil use graphite needle applicator thingy....it will just gum up again
