Bought some cruise pegs off ebay. Simple enough to fit, but they wont bite and keep moving no matter how i tighten them. Any ideas please? If i put rubber in the loop then I cannot get the bolt through the holes.

simplest thing would be to buy some longer bolts, and change them to metric if they are usa sae bolts

I stabbed a self tapping screw through the outer ring into the crashbar, worked good on my 82.

how thick pf a piece of rubber? I would think a piece from a bicycle inner tube would work, thats my 2 cents worth.Mine came with them already installed

Cut a piece of sandpaper the width of the bracket wrap it around the crash bar (smooth side down) and it should tighten up real good this has worked for me on a few bikes.
