I'm Dr. Eric Hahn local Raleigh Chiropractor. (opened my office a year ago) Well today I helped my Father-in-law reposess a 1984 Honda Goldwing Aspencade. He sold it to a guy four or five years ago that never paid it for him and the thing was still in his name. the guy hasn't had time to love it and put it in the shed two years ago, two strokes later and he just figured he'd never drive it again and asked us to come pick it up. sad story and even sadder, because I understand that when this guy first rode off with the bike four years ago it was in beautiful condition. today it's covered with dust and grime and the seat is all cracked up and the throttle doesn't turn. I was able to jump it and get it idling for a little bit before we took off with it, so it looks like it will be salvagable, but we'll have to see. I'll be cruzing the board for any information on getting to the throttle cables and seeing where they're frozen up and then seeing if this thing works.. my father-in-law is in a wheel chair and this will be a project we can work on together and with any luck it might encourage him to get in better shape and maybe some day be able to ride again. (long story) but we'll see.
so all the best and if there's anyone around Raleigh or Four Oaks NC that would be interested in helping out a new hand at fixing a motorcycle just let me know..
Thanks
Dr. Eric
