I put new brushes on my alternator last night. Thanks to all for the helpful information.



I went out to put the alternator back on and cannot remember for sure where the small wire goes that comes from the black box off of the cable coming from the bike.

Can anyone help me with this?

Looked at the manual, has a picture but not real good, see if this jogs your memory. It looksto go on the nut under the rubber coverother end of connector that battery cablehooks to.

I got it back together last night and it charges just fine now.
