I bought a new bike

Well, I did it, I went to Portland, Oregon and bought a 2012 Blue Goldwing. Coming from a GL1500 to a GL1800 here are my first impressions:

1) This is an awesome bike, but the 1500's were awesome also.
2) The bike seems to be narrower than the 1500's.
3) The bike is more agile than the 1500.
4) It quicker than the 1500's but hey, it also has 300 more cc's.

It has 7 miles on it as of today, planning on putting a few more on it this afternoon and many, many, many more miles on it in the future.

Question: The bike comes with the Bridgestones G709 tires, I've never used these tires before, what can I expect from them?

Gorgeous Goldwing. Enjoy it in good health!
the bridgestone tires are great. I am running them on my 06. Check out the GL1800 site. Direct Line Parts is a sponsor and u can buy the Bridgestones for under $300 a set shipped to your door.
I would suggest you set your tires @ 41frt, 42rr and check them often!
Further, try setting your rear shock @ max of 25 and ride it that way for a while.
Very Nice, Congrats :claps::claps: :claps:
Congrats. Very nice bike, they look great in blue.
Drooling over that beautiful 1800. Congrats!

Wow!!!! Congrats, Can I have it this week-end?
Very nice looking bike wish you many happy miles.
Sweet!! I can only dream.
And I had the privilege of riding with Terry today, so I got to see his new bike first hand. VERY pretty motorcycle and we had a great ride!
Excellent!
Good job! So you are selling your 1500 then?
Nice 1800 for sure. Congratulations. :claps:
Congratulations!! I wish you many safe and happy rides. By the way, beautiful bike!!
very nice
Dannyboy1949 and I took a short ride this past Friday out Oregon Hwy 238 and up to Applegate Dam. The road to the dam has a few twisties on it, I'm amazed at how well this 1800 handles, I thought my 1500 did a good job with the turns but the 1800 does even better. I'm looking forward to putting many, many many miles on it.

Don't make us all hold our breath. Are you gonna sell your 1500?
