bobaloo took your advice and had pistol pete rebuild the carbs.
found broken return cable now having trouble getting em hooked
up on the carb?? any pictures??

ok got a lot put back together. i was going to flush out the fuel pump
but i can not get gas to flow out the pump??? any help??? or ideas??
pet **** open new filter on the right way, gas in filter but not pumping
through???

I think you beginning to see value in what you've invested , as you have posted a sentry to keep guard ;)
You might want to use a small container of gasoline to at least get the bike running . Just fix it up on gravity feed . If the bike starts up then the mechanical pump may begin to work , so be sure to put its outgoing line into a catch container.

The check valves in the pump may be stuck. A little pressure may pop them loose.

thanks guys. hooked it up to over head gas. started right up.
i should thank pistol pete. ran it sever minnutes tapping on
fuel pump many times nothing?? looks like i need a new fuel pump.

Before buying a new one I think you can open that pump up, might find something serviceable... Wouldn't hurt to try...

Did you try connecting your overhead supply to the fuel pump inlet? Like I said, probably the check valves stuck, tapping is not going to free them.

ok took fuel pump apart now its working thanks.
fuel and temp gauges not working. looks like i
need a 7 volt regulator. my question is i have a broken
o ring with a metal housing that broke.





is this the right spot where it goes??
and is it part #15 on the parts list??

Whatever that is doesn't go there. #15 is the seal on the other side of the wheel.

bike came with spare parts, are either
of these the 7 volt regulator??


Looks like spare junk to me. No, the 7v reg is a little metal box inside the instrument panel.

i think your right..



got the 7 volt reg.in gas and temp gauges now working. thanks all..


took the back wheel off again and took a picture. there is still the broken o-ring with a metal housing im unsure
where it goes i have parts list picture up a couple posts?? any help??





its the piece on the bottom thanks...

No idea what it is but it still doesn't go on the rear axle.
