I need help identifying these GL1200 parts

I am currently restoring a 1984 GL1200 Interstate that was disassembled and have come across these items and cannot figure out what they are, or if they even belong with this bike. Can anyone help me? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Those are filler pieces that go on either side of the fairing directly under the handle bars.

I think Moonhead is probably right, they look like items 31 and 32 in the drawing below.

yep moonhead is correct, the one that shows a hole with a filler in it, is where the driver 5 pin cord feeds through, from the intercom.

Many thanks for the help. I have been puzzling over this for several days; when I got the bike all the tupperware had been removed and the front fairing was completely disassembled. I just got everthing back from the paint shop and I am getting a little anxious to get it all back together for spring riding.
