I am in the process of changing timing belts on my 82 1100. I made sure I lined the timing mark on T-1, looked to see if marks lined up on camshafts and they did, but I did not look to see if the word up was up. Guess what it is on the bottom, I already took the old belts off. Now what do I do? Please help ASAP.

You can do it with the up marks on the bottom, doesn't matter. Then just turn the engine 1 turn and make sure the marks line up with the up marks up.
The only difference is the left cam will be the one that doesn't want to stay in place instead of the right.

Yu above will work Just make sure you turn engine over by hand at least 2 full revolutions and rechecking everything before using the electric start

The only people who never make mistakes are the ones who never do anything.
