Just order something for your bike. Doesnt matter who you order it from, it just seems like it takes FOREVER to arrive.

Oh, and if the part you are waiting for is one the bike must have to run, it takes longer.

sigh, 86 degrees this weekend, not a cloud anywhere, low humidity, and the wing is in pieces waiting for a water pump.

sigh sigh.

I agree with ya' Dick......maybe take up underwater basket weaving while you wait on the water pump!

Strange how that works. Is that law a subset of Murphy's?

Best wishes getting her going when the pump arrives.

The importance of the part is in direct proportion to the length of deliver time...............

Well, i needed a new speedo cable to go with the new speedo and couldn't wait for the one I ordered from Crescent Moon to arrive tomorrow or Monday. So, off I go to Hendersonville, NC to the dealer to pick up some peg springs I ordered Sunday and go ahead and buy the speedo cable. Kinda glad I did as the new one was only 18 bucks with new cable housing that turned out to be 1 inch longer than the old one on the bike. So I guess I'll have a spare cable when the other one gets here.

Since I got a $250.00 check in the mail I put 100 in the bank and the rest in my pocket. Spent most of that at Direct Line warehouse in Hendersonville buying the in-line headset volume controller for the wife, another cig lighter kit, and a Nautilus Stebil horn for the bike.

Can't wait to get the horn on and start blowing them cagers away from me!!!

Oh, took Moma to Outback Steakhouse to keep her happy too!

Yeah I hear that. I sometimes go out in the morning but try to be back by noon. It's not very comfortable. Looking forward to August 1st. Heading to Alpine for the weekend.

got a customers 84 aspencade in a hundred pieces. Ordered steering stem bearings out of ohio on monday priority mail to expedite the job. They were in honolulu today, Ordered a stator from rm on ebay the same day. They said shipped out of california 2-5 days. Get a ups tracking email. Coming from canada 10 days. Im thinking its better to get my parts from big valley honda in reno . A little more money a lot quicker and less agravation. trying to save a dollar is actually costing me money. JB

I suppose this is not the place to tell you that my bike is working great and the weather here is perfectly comfortable for riding?

I do know what you mean though. I've been waiting for a long time for a couple simple nuts and washers. Bike is ok without, but I'd rather have them there. I think computers have created a deep dark hole in our once normal parts ordering system. There are two steps now, 1- place order. 2- wait a long time.

Don't I know it, still waiting on piston rings. Everything else has been in for over a week.

Kinda strange alright, when I had sailboats I knew how to stop the wind, just hoist a sail on a warm sunny day.
