I'm not adverse to adding bling, but it sure seems ashame what plastic double side stick on cost. What a rip off.



I tend to add functional pieces (back rest, highway pegs, etc.) rather than the bling. Don't misunderstand though, there are some things I would like to add, but I seem to be having an out-of-money-expereince.

If you've gotten 12000 miles out of a set of tires (especially the ones from the factory), you've done well. As for routine maintence, I take care of that myself, and IMHO the book schedule is way overboard on most things.
