I had really hope this crazy recession would have turned around by now, or at least that billion dollar check with the prez's signature on it would have come in by now so I could be hitting the road,,,, :(

but alas, it's not to be.

So all I can say is that I'll be thinking of the fun you are having, and the friends I wanted to meet and wont.

So for the time being, just a prayer for all the travelers heading out to the big mountains.

Have fun!

Sorry you can't make it lostinflorida. Unfortunately, lots of members that want to go can't due to the economy and that's too bad. We can only hope it turns around soon, but I think it may be awhile before it does.

I feel very fortunate that I can attend and feel for those that can't. Thank you for your safe travel wishes.

I am going simply because it is the #1 thing I want to do this year.

Everything else comes 2nd.

Hey Lost....

Don't worry... I'll hold our end up :cooldevil:We'll be well represented. I'll even take few photo's to share.

Hey there, "Lostin"

I'm sorry you won't make it; I understand completely. It's a pretty rough year for so many folks.

Hopefully, the more talented photogs will post wonderful pictures of all us couch potatoes, who occasionally ride their Goldwings? :D

I'm going to meet some of the very best people I've ever met, once again, and....I'm going to meet at least a half-dozen whom I've been DYING to meet, for at least a year (ok, two...maybe three....lol!)

Thank you for your kind wishes...maybe it'll be closer to you next time, and you can make it in 2010? Wow....who ever thought we'd be writing THAT date, eh? :cheeky1:

I can't imagine it being any closer that the first one in Calhoun and it was my great pleasure to attend that one. :action:

I figure the next one will be somewhere in the Northeast, or maybe even dare I venture, across the border to the North.

Regardless of where they are held, the people and the riding will be great.

I had the opposite problem... too much work and not enough time to go to the meet. Sorry I missed you all. :(

I'm in Oklahoma watching manure spreaders all day... don't ask.
