Does anyone know of any legit places that sell salvage bikes ? I have a friend building a spyder type trike and he is looking for a 1500 or 1800 (because he wants the reverse on it) . thanks, John

There is a thread in the reference and FAQ forum listing M/C wrecking yards.

The spyder / reverse trike is an interesting challenge. IIRC there is a thread by one of our members building one.

The first thing I would do would be to make sure of the legalities. Up here it's getting hard to licence anything that doesn't come off an assembly line. Insurance is almost impossible.
