My instructions say install compressor 8-10" from where horns will be mounted. I cannot find room to mount compressor(hidden) on the front of the bike. However i have seen many gl1500's with horns under front faring. Where are ya'll mounting compressor? i tried under either side pocket/compartment. Not enough room
Thanks in advance, Skip

you can remove the right side pocket and put the compressor in front of the pocket close to the turn signal i used silicon to stick it to the inside of the fairing and tape to hold it in place til the silicon was dry

On my 97 SE I have the two air horns mounted in front, under the fairing, above the front fender.

I removed the left fairing pocket and mounted the compressor in front of it, there is room in there. I then routed the air hose to the horns through a hole drilled through the tupperware.

Love my air horns and they are right in the front where they project the sound nicely.
