What are you calling the little hood? Trunk, or fake gas tank?

Have you made sure the rubber under the seat goes under the front seat lock correctly? Sometimes it has to be nudged by a wrap with the hand on the rear of the seat for mine to go in like it should.

Iguess the Front seat lock Is what i'm calling hood. I can't Hit The Back Of the seat because of the trunk! Yes The Part on front of seat won't go in the front seat lock!

Because the tongue is the wrong size, or because you need to use some force to compress the foam and bow the bottom of the seat pan a little to get the tongue to go into the slot?
