I seen it done in my nephews Japanese sports car. But he had problems, mainly the light is brighter but doesn't travel across the instruments far enough so he gets dark areas about 2" from the bulb. Additionally, I don't think it was plug & play, he might have had to install a small box to make the lights work in the dash. Sorry thats all I remember, I'm not a big fan of Japanese cars to start with.
