I would like to extend the intercom on my 1996 1500 aspencade into my sidecar. I've seen a Y five den connection (one in two out) in use on an 1100 aspencade, does anybody know if this is orginal equipment or where I might get one? Les.

Don't know where you live, as REDWING often mentions if you would put your location on your profile it would be easier for one of us in a nearby location to advise you. If you live in the US you can obtain a DIN plug or socket at Radio Shack and make up your own cable.

I've seen these as well Les. I think they are available from Maplins, I'll check it out today.

Radio shack no longer carries them in open stock. Not a job for an amateur. Done incorrectly, the pain from ringing ears will be memorable.

Radio Shack has them here.
