Hi - I'm a motorcycle enthusiast (38 yrs. off and on) Had several bikes (10) over the years but couldn't afford to keep most of them. Then my brother gave me his '84 GL1200 Aspencade. So I restored it ie made it safe, polished, cleaned it three years ago. Still riding it and now thinking I'll get a new bike!



The trouble is the darned thing has grown on me. Comfy, quiet, goes forever, looks nice, my wife likes it - and i get lots of compliments. Now I'm contemplating a rebuild into a sport tourer sort of (like a naked goldwing). OR rebuilding it again to update parts for a better handling bike. I haven't decided.



My first question is - does anyone know of possible front wheel swaps for this model? I'd like something a little narrower and a bigger wheel.



PS. This is not my bike but could easily be it's twin.
