Not designed to operate like that. You're asking the CD circuitry to be a microphone since that is where your I-phone is connected to.
Only option is J&M. They have bluetooth stuff. Very expensive though.

Zumo GPS with Bluetooth and a connection (microphone signal splitter -$70 plus shipping) from Edsets - works on my Gl1500. I can talk on the phone through my headset, get directions from the GPS, listen to the radio, talk on the CB, and listen to the built-in MP3 player on the Zumo. It also has the capability for a satellite radio. The biggest expense is the Zumo.
