I have a chance to buy a 1993 1500 interstate for 3500.

I was wondering if yall think its worth it?

It looks good, rides good, but has 100,000 miles on it.

the guy really takes care of his stuff and the bike looks good.

can anybody give me some advise?

I think i can get it for 3000.

Probably worth it, but the Interstate doesn't have reverse, on board compressor, and doesn't have the standard sound system.

For a few more bucks, you could find a Aspencade about the same model.

You'll miss the reverse, trust me.;)

I reckon thats a good price. I've been watching prices of the 90-94 gl1500s in view of trading up and $4000 seems to be about as low as it gets for interstates in good condition.

$3000 is a bargain, but I have to tell you that most people I know who bought Interstate 1500s couldn't wait to upgrade them to an SE or Aspencade. Lack of reverse is the main factor in the decision.

I'm a bit late to this party... Nope, imo, not worth $3500. You can get an early1500 with reverse around the 100k mileage for around that much $$.

I don't see the real reason not to buy it because of no reverse, learn how to stay out those circumstances and you wont need it.

GOD Bless,
jerry
