When I bought the bike it had a bad rock ding in the headlight, with a hole in it, that would allow water to come in when raining. I bought the plexiglass shield that you install on the front of the whole headlight assembly to protect the hole. Is there a way to fix this, or do I just need to replace the whole headlight assembly? I am looking to update to LED's, but did not want to do that until I could block the moisture from accumulating.

There are probably several housings on eBay.

I don't know of any LED compatible units, but, maybe there's something available.

Another option would be to "upgrade" to the 1998 - 2000 year head light assembly. (If not already done)

They are pretty bright and you probably would not need the LED. Your choice...!!

Just fitted two ebay special H4 led replacements to my mates trike, along with two 501 leds for the sides, and he is overvthe moon, tells me they are brighter with a decent pattern for less current draw.

As to the hole try a windscreen repair place

You can repair it, but not invisibly. (clear resin, wet sand and polish.)
