Is there any way to sort a member search by Odometer Miles

Wouldn't it be interesting to see the average odometer miles for any year selected?

I would venture to say the average for any given year on a Goldwing (on this forum) is probably 5000 miles.

I know of one womanwho rode her Goldwing over127,000 miles in one year. ( I think she hit 129,000)

It seems that the mainstream thought is you should be able to get 300,000 miles before rebuilding.

So if you own a 10 year old Goldwing you could compare your mileage against the competition. You might pride yourself with owning one that hastraveled lower than the Average Miles, but someone on here might bejust as proud that his has traveled many times that of the average owner. When he thinks back on the Adventures, the events, the get togethers, and the week-ends on the road, weighingthat against the days and weeks some Goldwings have spentpampered, covered and protected inside their airconditioned and heated garage.

Just might be interesting to see where our Goldwings fit in the scope of things.

The forum software was never intended to be searched by that mileage figure. It is free form and not worth the trouble.

Neat? Sure, but not worth the programmer's time to do it. And the database would slow down. I vote no.

There is a thread on here somewhere where people listed their wing year and the milage it had on it. Was only about a month ago. Just not sure where to look for it.:action::action::action::action:

I bought mine last early fall with 12K on it. It now has 21K on it, so I guess I am on track as with my last two bikes and to the tune of about 12-14K per year.
