looking for a set of jets for a 82 1100, carb number 48C, I can't seem to get the slow jets unpluged, and figure I might be better off getting new ones, size would be 35. also may need main jets (little round one) size 145

If they are the pressed in jets I dont think you can buy them separately but try here;http://www.hondaparts-direct.com/default.asp

Thanks dave, I've checked there, but was hoping someone might have had a good set laying around a little cheaper, but I probably will just get them from there.

Using the NAPA carb cleaner (can with the mesh basket inside) will do a great job to clean the jets. A small strand of brass wire can be pushed through the holes to unplug. Leave the jets in the tank over night.

New jets could be a worse idea (I agree with Randdack here) as alot of aftermarket carb parts sort of suck for quality.

80-81 slow jets are pressed in, 82-83 are removable.

I got some jets from them once, the shipping cost was a lot less than the others, the jets are darn near free but the shipping will kill you from HPD on something small like that.
