JM passenger control for GL1500 intercom

I am installing a j&m passenger control for the intercom. the instructions say there is a 6-pin brown plug in the factory harness that is not being used that needs to be plugged into the new system. i cant find this plug anywhere.if anyone has done this installation and can help me i would really appreciate it.:? thanks in advance

It is buried in the black boot close to the cross member under the seat. It is usually folded up inside the boot and thus hard to find.
