it's a 81 aspencade going to swap out some parts has some chrome and hopefully the

complete radio and cb system if it works putting in a 83 gl 1100 we will be pickig up on

9-17

that's what i thought but wife look it up and found them listed the id plate is painted

Yes the Aspencade model came out in '81, after the phenomenal success of the '80 Interstate. Just something I remember from researching Goldwings in general.

If they still made the '80-'83 Interstate, I would probably buy a brand new one. Those were some classy looking bikes. I didn't realize just how good they looked until someone posted a big picture of a Wineberry '83 Interstate parked next to a blue/gray 1500. That picture is now my wallpaper.
