brianinmaine, as you can see the overallgearing on the 80-81 was higher than the others. The final drive was slightly lower but the secondary & 5th gear were higher.

My 1200 runs a little over 5000 RPM's at 95 mph (actual) -- {about 99 mph indicated on the speedo = 95 actual}.
