Has anyone had any success with this brand?

Reason I am asking, I am replacing the rear tire with one soon. I only put about 3k a year on my bike, so mileage wear isnt too much of an issue. I dont like to mis-match tires, but I have yet to find one from Kenda for the front.
If you have, can you point me to the tire so I can have my guy order it?
If not, has anyone found one that matches for the same price range as the Kenda rear with some success?

This is on an 88 GL1500 by the way.... :action:

Thanks again!

I have on my 1100 and they are decent. Only have about 2000 miles on them though.

They make two for the rear of the 1100. I have the cheaper one on now and got 12000 miles. I have the better one waiting to go on as soon as I have time. I like them.

Americanmototire.com has front and rear........ I think the size you need is 130 70 18 for the front. 160 80 16 rear. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. Denniskirk.com is good too.

I could of swore I searched that size yesterday and didnt come up with anything front wise for Kenda... (Smacks Forehead)... geez the mind is the first to go I guess... LOL
I am glad to hear that people are getting some decent mileage out of them for the price. I am more of a cruise type rider, so abuse isnt very often unless I am getting out of the way of a cager... These seem perfect for my budget and riding style!

Will this work with the load rating in the front?

I am going to order the Kruz for the rear as well

I've used the Kenda Kruz on another bike without any issues. I found the rubber to be a littler harder compound than Dunlops which in the long run will last a little longer. I believe their made in China, which we all know are pretty good at copies of name brand stuff. I think the tread design is a knock off from Dunlop's on some of their tires. Sure look it to me.

I remember during Desert Storm reading where the Iraqi's were hauling the dud Cruise Missiles over the mountains on camalback to sell to the Chinese so they could copy it. I've actually shot the Polytech M14 which was a chinese copy of the US M-14 and it shot exactly like the US version. Some parts would even interchange. Theyre real good at copying stuff. I think they also now are copying the old Honda engine from the Trail 70 and 90 too.
