Does anyone know where I can find another Kenwood radio for my 1500. It came with the bike from the factory and is located in the left fairing pocket.

You can pick up a Kenwood radio from

http://www.crutchfield.com/

if you want the same radio, but it is an add on, not original, so buy the radio you want with the features that you want.

Dennis, that radio must have been fitted by the dealer as no GL1500 came from the factory with a radio in the pocket. The Interstate had a basic console radio with no tepe deck.

There is no tape deck, just a am/fm radio and it did come from the factory that way. The radio is in the left pocket and controled by a small box on the left handle bar. Printed on the radio and the control is Kenwood/ Honda.

It could have been done by a dealer, but...my 1991 GL1500I is unaltered and has the same kenwood radio built in in the left pocket.

its an special edition interstate that did came with the kenwood radio.. call sierra-mc.com they may be able to repair it.

I think the radio was used with many different hondas as a dealer installed option..

It seems more and more people have this bike. There are a handful of fuses that arent in the factory fusebox location.
