Key remote, GL1800

Newbie here my first goldwing. I have a 02 Gl1800, when I press the call button on the remote it don't do nothing. The other buttons work. I read online that the horn suppose to blow. The horn will blow if I press the horn button on the handle bar. What could the problem be, could the remote be bad.

You have to hold the button a few seconds. It will also flash the lights. It is supposed to help you find your bike in a parking lot.

There are only two times I can think that you would need to use it. One is at Wing Ding. The other is when you are too drunk to drive anyway. Either way it is a useless function. I wouldn't worry to much about it.

There is another function for the red button.:? One time at Bike Week we were returning to our bikes and there was a cute girl and some of her friendsadmiring our Wings.:D Just as she was about to touch mine I pushed the red button.:cheeky1: Yep, she jumped.
