Just been reading the thread about the tape for the Kuryakyn chrome cylinder covers and a thought occurred to me. Seeing as they are made of steel and chromed to boot, do they make the head run hotter? I mean the rocker covers need to shed the heat build-up as well and I'm curious if those covers will trap heat or cause problems. I would imagine that they get quite hot when the engine is running anyway. :?
