Has anybody ever mounted a set of the Kuryakyn armrest designed for the 1800 on a 1500. I like the newer style a whole lot better and was wondering if this is at all possible. If you have a set on your 1800, could you tell me if the harware is made of aluminum or chromed steel? If steel, then there is a way to modify and fit them....



I have posted this once before but the thread is gone.

Sure you didn't post it on another forum instead? I helped fit a Kury armrest with swivel cup holder on an 1800. The mounting hardware was painted metal, and it fitted inside the pockets below the speakers. Wasn't too easy to fit, took us a couple of hours.

I am positive about what forum I posted it on as I don't hang out too much on other GW forums, due to the quality of this one. I guess I have to lay the Kury's out next to the standard 1500's and take a look at it. One way or another I will make it work.

Yes, thanks for posting. This CRS stuff is really getting to me....

It's hard enough to make them fit an 1800. Who knows, they may fit a 1500 better.
