I have a propane torpedo heater running on 20# gas grill tanks. Works great, I'm just lazy.

Well use to use these smog pot heaters at the ranch it the shop and you can burn about anything in them [we used diesel] you just have to watch for soot.......... Boy do they throw at the heat.....
