I have a right side Cylinder head cover that is leaking oil around the Gold eagle emblem ( at least that is were it looks like it is coming from) If I take the cover off & tighten the emblem (not sure how they are held on) will that stop my leak or do I need a new cover. Also can I use the same gasket or do I need to order a new gasket. Thanks for any info. I am tired of getting oil on my pants while riding.

You can use the same gasket once it doesn´t rip when removing. Might be worth using silicone when refitting. I would remove the eagle and put silicone under it and use a rubber washer on the inside part before tightening the nut or whatever holds it in place.

Thanks Norman, I really did not want to buy a new gasket or cover. I hope that it is an easy & cheap fix.

Thanks again. This site is the greatest & the posters are very knowledgable. :)
